Every Boy Scout loves a challenge and COPE is about the best one you can find!
Come prepared for an awesome day on the "Challenge" course at beautiful YMCA Camp Seymour. We can't reveal exactly what we will be doing there but promise that everyone will have a blast. You will love it!!

If you aren't already signed up for the Troop 361 Shootout, you should be. Where else can you shoot rifles, shotguns, and black powder rifles to your heart's content? Are you looking for a rewarding experience and a great opportunity to benefit your local community? This outing is definitely the one. Every year the Scouts of Troop 361 volunteer to staff 2-3 WSO Athlete kitchens in support the Washington Special Olympics. The boys cook and serve food for hundreds of special athletes who come together to compete in this annual Olympic event. We stay quartered on base at Fort Lewis or in nearby Camp Murray and enjoy the attractions at Fort Lewis while the athletes compete during the day. It's an incredible opportunity!
Parents, just in case you were wondering, this isn't an activity that we have to work hard to get Scouts to do. In this particular outing, Scouts get to experience the joy of helping someone else and being able to really make a difference. When the athletes see our Scouts in their white shirts, dark slacks, and bowties, they jump right in line because they know that Troop 361 will provide them with great service and a very enjoyable meal.
Make sure you put this on your calendar. It's an event you do not want to miss.

The Troop 361 Pedro Outing is extremely important. Often the first camping trip for many Scouts, the Pedro Outing is where first year Scouts wrap up the completion of their Tenderfoot requirements on the shores of beautiful Puget Sound near Belfair. While this might sound like work -- it's not. This outing is a blast!
